Content- and Consumption Calculation
The Intelligent Manometer measures the pressure created by the liquid
level. The contents of the vessel as a function of the specific gravity
and as a function of the shape of the vessel are programmed into the
instrument. The consumption meter indicates the content in litres
and calculates the daily, weekly or monthly consumption and displays
the estimated time when the vessel will be empty at present rate of
consumption. |

SF6
Density of Gases
High voltage switches in power stations are filled with SF6-gas. Leakage
of gas can lead to serious damage to the switches. Mano SF6 calculates
the density of the gas by measuring the pressure and the temperature
and calculates the density to a very high accuracy. Tracing past measurements
over a long time period, Mano SF6 calculates the leakage and makes
an exact prognosis when the switch must be refilled with new gas. |

Density of Liquids / Content Gauge
Two pressure transducers are immersed in the vessel at a known distance
apart. The density can be calculated from the pressure difference.
The accuracy depends on the distance apart. At 25 cm, an accuracy
of 0,5% can be achieved. This distance can be programmed into the
instrument in the field. "Auto-Zero", when out of the liquid,
eliminates the zero stability errors. Knowing the distance to the
bottom of the vessel, the contents are computed from the density and
the pressure. |

Mano
CO2
CO2-Percentage in Drinks
CO2 keeps soft drinks, beer or champagne fresh. A lack of CO2 makes
them flat and tasteless. Mano CO2 allows evaluation of the CO2-content
in a quick test in pubs or restaurants. About 0,5 litres of the drink
are added into a holder, the holder is then sealed and shaken for
10 seconds. The CO2-fizz from the drink increases the pressure in
the holder. After one minute, an equilibrium pressure is reached,
and a calculation of the CO2-content can be made. |
